Our Story
P & L Masonry was founded by our CEO, a skilled bricklayer who, after earning his diploma, tapped into a network of industry contacts to launch his career. Over the years, as projects grew in scale and complexity, so did our team. Today, we are proud to have successfully completed numerous significant projects for renound builders across New South Wales, showcasing our ability to tackle challenges of any size.

At P & L Masonry, our expertise spans a wide array of masonry projects, and we are proud of our extensive portfolio, which includes:
- Heffron Centre – $1.1M: This project involved the construction of a state-of-the-art facility, showcasing our ability to handle large-scale commercial developments with a focus on durability and aesthetics.
- Sutherland Entertainment Centre – $900K: A vital addition to the community, this project required meticulous attention to detail, ensuring that the finished structure met both functional and design expectations.
- WestConnex Tunnel – $1.8M: Our work on this major infrastructure project highlights our capability in large, complex undertakings that require extensive planning and coordination, reinforcing our role in shaping the urban landscape.

Plumb & Level Masonry Pty Ltd was founded on a family history of excellence in Masonry; John Meitanis was the role model who inspired the development of the company. John learned his masonry trade in Cyprus before moving to Australia in 1975. The vast knowledge and hard work ethics of this man were passed down through hands-on training to his son Costa, the Director and founder of Plumb & Level. As a result, a company was created that utilizes old-world methods and innovative new-world technology.
Since 1986 we have established a tradition of performance that we continue to build upon today. But it’s not what we are that sets us apart. It’s who we are. The bricklayers, laborer’s and operators who actually put the work in place are among the best in our industry. Our professional staff that supports that effort is no less important and plays a crucial role in ensuring that our crews have the resources necessary to perform the job at hand.
With Plumb & Level as a member of your construction team, you’ll have a Job Supervisor who will direct the day-to-day activities of the crew, an Operations Manager who will coordinate manpower and assist the Job Supervisor as necessary, and a Project Manager who is responsible for the estimate, subcontract, pre-job meeting, shop drawings and the overall coordination of the project from start to finish. Behind the scenes, we’ll have additional members of our team involved in the proper accounting of the project to ensure accurate and timely documentation of the work as it progresses.
Well-maintained equipment, appropriate for the task, is another asset you’ll receive with Plumb & Level as a member of your team. We have all of the necessary resources, from scaffolds to planks and guardrails; we’ll provide all that is required to complete your project on time and within budget.
OUR EXPERTISE
Our team consists of many very experienced tradesman, who are not only confident bricklayers, but have experience in many other areas of building such as form working, concreting, carpeting, and core filling. We provide all our own tools of the trade, and are extremely confident in our ability to use them not only efficiently, but safely.
Our foremen overlook our teams to ensure that everything on site runs smoothly, and our foremen are always the most experienced and expert tradesmen, who will be there to oversee all work taking place.
OUR STAFF
Our team’s work ethic revolves around safety. We have enough men at hand to ensure that any job will run smoothly and efficiently, putting everyone’s mind at ease.
PPE is standard and supplied mandatorily. We also provide all the necessary SWMS and conduct toolbox meetings daily. We have no problem undertaking work in any construction environment, ranging from residential renovations and fencing work to school extensions and hospitals.
Working on things such as trenches and scaffolding is never an issue and our teams will always consist of an experienced foreman who is always on top of any safety or hazard issue.
There is no jobsite too big or too busy for our men to coordinate safe and efficient work. We work safely, quickly, with quality and of course, happily. You will have no issues in putting your trust in our experienced hands.
INSURANCE
Plumb and Level Masonry holds all the relevant insurances for any type of works.
Workers compensation, Asert, Uplus are all part of the benefits that our employees attain.
We also have $20,000,000 Public liability for the more complex works that we do, such as shopping centre’s, civil works, underground basements and high rise buildings.
